I am pretty content right now with Obsidian as I only really need markdown to write my stuff. Lovely to have it local.

@alienghic recently a couple of my old childhood friends got together and I reminded that when we were teenagers we talked about boys but now we talk about our health check ups 🤣

I am not sure why the family elders talk about bowel movements during CNY visitations, but at this point I consider this transparency a family tradition of sorts

Ok,#Deepseek is hands down better than #ChatGPT when it comes to helping me create my content. One of the ways I create content is to record my thoughts and turn that transcript into a blog post. I often ask (more like, beg) ChatGPT to organise the text and use as much of my text as possible to create a blog post out of the transcript. Almost always it imposes its robotic ChatGPT speak onto my text, turning my style into robot speak. So I always end up having to heavily edit it anyway. Today I ask Deepseek to do the same and it did it flawlessly, removing redundant sentences and the uhhmms and the ahhhs, and just preserved my style. It also shifted paragraphs to a more coherent structure.

Brilliant.

A crack suddenly appeared at the ground floor neighbour's unit. I decided to stay at my parents house last night just to be safe, but they said that the kitchen cabinets have literally shifted. This is concerning as their unit is right next to a hill slope and it has been raining heavily for days. 😬

My apartment is in the next block but also facing the same slope. Not sure if my place is safe to stay or not 😅. As usual the apartment management is useless and not communicating with us, and it's the holidays so they are not around. Sigh

@ronsboy67 oh well. What can I say, when US folks dominate English social media they kinda forget people like us exist. Has been for some time...
