A few days ago I commented that the Chinese on #Xiaohongshu are sensitive about #ChineseNewYear being called Lunar New Year. (fyi not every Chinese are not offended by this btw, generally Chinese in Malaysia don't seem as bothered, tho we call it CNY).
I promised I will the content explaining why.
Interestingly, President Obama has come out to talk about why we should not call it Lunar New Year, so you may find this interesting.

@JillsJoy @thalassophobic @Rozzychan yes, it's pretty fuss free. However, I use WordPress.com, and it has a toggle that says connect to the Fediverse, and that's it, done. If you use the open source version I think you need to download the Fediverse widget.
