@brisingr05 @youronlyone @kdrama Ah. Mention of a monthly theme made me think of an entire #kDrama, where the theme was significant. One episode of one Drama doesn't feel like part of a "recurring theme" to me.

I'd be more likely to include "Beyond the Bar" as part of a legal 'theme' given its near overlap with "Law and the City"

With the rise of pre-shot over live-shot, we're seeing less of this than formerly. Fewer "all vampires" "all doctors" "all judges" than in the days of yore.

@youronlyone @kdrama apart from Mary Kills People, which is not a #kDrama original but a remake of a Western show, what other #kDrama recently have focused on euthanasia as a major topic or plot point?

@youronlyone I first saw her in #kDrama #SummerStrike and then seeing er play a COIMPLETELY different character in #TwinklingWatermelon blew me away. She was the only reason I endured that underwhelming overblown mess to the tedious end. #I'll be watching #LoveUntangled today

It's one of several reasons why I built my own personal database and amn in the process of planning and designing a new and improved version. So that I can ut the MDL cord almost entirely.

MDL lists "comedy" as one of the genres for 12 episode #kDrama #TheWinningTry - there are total of maybe 15 minutes of comedy in the first 11 episodes. Of course, having started nearly 500 #kDrama I know that wallowing in misery, pain and the triumph of evil IS considered fun in #kDrama

Every now and again, a rare flash of adult maturity imposes itself on my decision-making - like right now when it's 00:!5 on Saturday morning and I stop watching #kDrama #MoneyFlower with just 5 eps left because I have a 7 hour night shift starting at 18:00 I'm so proud of me! 🤣

@youronlyone @s1m0n4 whatever the reason, I'm glad they made that choice. I'm VERY hematophobic, so medical Dramas are normally no-go zones for me.

@seanbala @histodons @antiquidons One of the many things I enjoyed about that book was his discovery of a previously unknown to him family connection with a major archaeological find.

@seanbala Thanks! This is definitely my pattern. I sideload as I get them,normally one or two at a time, but when Kobo has promotional specials, often quite a few more.

@seanbala "None of the above" I sideload ALL my books, but I do as I buy them. I buy them (almost all from Kobo), strip the DRM to make them truly mine, then sideload them. So if I buy 2 books, I'll be sideloading 2 books. If I buy 6, then 6, etc.

@liztai to be fair, hitting the heart is hard, and the abdominal area is a big, boneless target. I know that if I tried to stab someone in the neck I'd likely miss and end up stabbing MYSELF in the gut on the downswing 😂
