I agree. People should be able to make a very good living, but not to the point where their personal wealth can be used to destabilise democracy itself.
The word 'salad' implies that Trump is collating words that actually go together, like ingredients in a salad. What he actually does is throw everything you might eat in a day into a bucket, hauling out handfuls of the stuff in response to questions.
I don't doubt it. Do you remember the eagle incident? He was posing in his office for a patriotic photo with an American eagle, when the bird turned on him. The clip might still be there on Xitter.
I'm surprised that MAGA hasn't weaponised dog ownership in response to the #CatsForKamala rallying point. They could use that patriotic American symbol, Lassie.
"What's that you say, Lassie? Thousands of illegals are massing on the Southern border for an invasion!? Lead the way!"
"Overpayments happen when a carer breaches a government-imposed cap which states they cannot earn more than £151 a week in a paid job while receiving the £81.90 allowance. Instead of asking carers to pay back the amount that exceeded the threshold, the DWP claws back the whole £81.90 for each week that was in breach."
This is so obviously a scam that it explains the DWP's reluctance to either release the report or change the system to ensure justice for carers.
Is it relevant that you're talking to a stranger when replying to a post? This is social media and the whole point is to interact with strangers. As to bios, I pay very little attention to them. Far more telling is what people actually post. It's as if you were at a party and handed out a CV to every guest. That wouldn't be a very good basis for interesting conversations, and the other guests would probably think you were a little weird.
I only wish that the old fogies who produced this as satire could have lived to see it as an ironic symbol of the enduring influence of the art they hated.
You could live there. As long as you can aford the sky-high house prices and put up with millions of tourists clogging up the beautiul landscape for most of the year. You wouldn't have mind that many local people can't afford to live there and have to work seasonal jobs because tourism is the only industry.
I know whereof I speak. I lived in Keswick for 4 years. The Lake District is a poisoned picture perfect postcard.
Good riddance if it's true, but I doubt that Xitter can afford to lose hundreds of millions of users. Sounds more like Musk blowing off some fetid gas.
As to why more politicians and journalists don't leave, I suspect it's because they put engagement above ethical values.
In the meantime, I am trapped on the hellsite because my suspension makes it logistically impossible to delete the account. If anyone knows a way round this, I would be grateful for the information.
