The protest was large, colorful, and peaceable. Lots of creative signs, but I chose not to take photos this time. Teen came along, waved a flag and chanted, wanted to hang out for most of the speeches. We ended up ahead by two small flags and two even smaller Resist buttons; vibes were good! Left via the Schuylkill River Trail, so lots of walking for the day, and this GenX parent is kerflopped! :))
If I can stop one heart from breaking, I shall not live in vain; If I can ease on life the aching or cool one pain or help a fainting robin into its nest again I shall not live in vain.
@Lizette603_23 "That’s some choice spin from a guy who joined 179 other Republican House members in voting to defund the Federal Aviation Administration in 2019." 🔥 🔥
@ATLeagle I thought thatthe pregame chat might entertain me, but what on earth?!? painfully stiff singing thing, now some kind of tribute to LA and... first responders? I want some cheery chat!
Tried to make a haircut appointment for next week, and salon not making any appointments beyond Tuesday until we know if there will be an Eagles victory parade! 😆 :eagles:
@mcneely Philabundance is a good one overall -- they deal with food insecurity, and help organize food streams for lots of other organizations too. Your money goes a long way there.
