Sure I spent the #4NationsFaceOff tournament rooting for Team USA but I'm not mad to see Canada win it. Rubbing it in Trump's face and seeing my Flyers Sanheim get some recognition is pretty damn great.

@hockey Adam Fox has been invisible. Of the 3 Rangers playing he's been the weakest. And Kreider has played like 6 total shifts this game. I thought he was a good defenseman NYR fans?

Excellent game, trash OT picks by the panel. Of course Bucigrass has to remind folks of Austin Matthews record in winner take all games (especially in Boston)

@marcotietz @hockey we'll they're set for the Olympics next year and they have officially brought back the Hockey World Cup repeating in the other even years so it should become an every two year occurrence once again

Honestly? This game has been excellent so far. No fights, just great hockey. The NHL must be ecstatic the way this has gone.

@skyfaller I've declared GMail bankruptcy. I treat my GMail as a honeypot and my "real" email address is another one. I'm tied to the Google account due to Google Photos but I don't need to actively use GMail unless I'm looking or expecting something

@stumblewyk @skyfaller I know exactly what you mean. It's sports but it's not *Philly Sports*. I'm not sure how much of that niche ever came over 😕

@stumblewyk @skyfaller aww that's a shame. I never realized that there even was a migration of Philly sports fans here. FWIW there are sports fans on the Fediverse lots of them just seem to follow hashtags or the reposting feeds like hockey[@]a.gup.pe or nfl[@]a.gup.pe

25/ So now you're a government contractor with a contract worth hundreds of millions of dollars, and a whole bunch of people on staff working on it. Do you just... keep going? Knowing you won't get paid? Do you tell your staff to stop working? What if they've been told to stop already anyway?

@stumblewyk @acm_redfox on one hand I don't like this but on the other it's hard to think of a more blatant example of a company "solving" racism with a token statement. I'm not shedding tears over the lid of performative nothing burgers.
