    “LastPass says unknown attackers breached its cloud storage using information stolen during a previous security incident from August 2022.

    The company added that, once in, the threat actors also managed to access customer data stored in the compromised storage service.”

    correct however even your "normal" IP does not directly point towards you as a person but just your network (NAT) and since we are talking obviously about people who care about privacy it can be assumed that they already use techniques such as VPNs/Proxies/Tor to obfuscate there IP which makes (commercial) tracking not only useless but also impossible.

    steam really isn't that bad (compared to other launchers/stores). there is google analytics bs you can opt-out but at least you can use it anonymously. also you should use sandboxing like Firejail of Flatpak if you care since games are often much more intrusive.
