@inthehands Oh, we appreciate it, but it falls into the class of accepting the things we cannot change.
I've never had to learn C or C++ and now I have no desire to either. And I am coming to the conclusion that a project whose only documentation is C source code is a waste of my time.
@oliphant The magistrate judge made it very clear to him that could happen. The DC federal courts have had it with Trump's bullshit and it wouldn't surprise me a bit if some of the un-indicted co-conspirators get target letters soon.
We saw what they all did during the J6 committee hearings. They're likely to get at least five years if they co-operate and more if they don't.
@inthehands@TheConversationUS I remember the ULC from the 1960s! They got started back when the military didn't draft married men for Vietnam. Basically anyone could fill out a form, become a minister and then perform weddings.
@inthehands In my youth I was planning to be a chemist. "Cis" and "Trans" are terms from organic chemistry that describe the placement of a group of atoms on two isomers of a molecule.
Someone applied the "cis" label to people who are not "trans", and the usage has become part of the language. There's no musical analogy here.
Musk knows *exactly* what he is doing. It's vile. He's destroying Twitter and will end up selling it for parts in whatever passes for a liquidation sale these days.
@inthehands I left Facebook in 2010 after about nine months and I will never go back, nor will I join any social network owned by Meta. They cannot be redeemed.
