@KelsonV Oh, I know. I periodically go through posts in my #blog, especially the old ones, make sure the links that are dead are in #WaybackMachine, and search for others in Wayback, and mourn the loss of still others, some of which were real treasures. Much (but not all) of my #GeoCities site has been captured by #Wayback; there's a link to it in my #neocities page. I'm glad I renamed index.html to schmindex.html in my GeoCities, or probably a lot more files would have been lost.

@evan Hm, this poll reached me in a "closed" state, but must confess I'm pulled toward "strong yes," based mostly on my recent test driving of #Friendica. The Friendica space does seem to me high in spam accounts, seotext blablabla accounts, media-outlet-unofficial mirrors, and other low-effort accounts. Finding conversation there (esp. in languages that are not German) is like finding a needle in a haystack.
