@bruces Noam Chomsky in his early work in linguistics, regarding what he called "strings" in human language grammar, implied that there are structures in language that are universal and innate. Pinker has also done work in this area.
@Gargron@mcc A big problem was the "advanced" UI being the default when people signed up. ➡️ I hope that's been changed now! At least half my contacts took one look at that UI and fled to BlueSky. It's better to give newcomers a more normal interface at the beginning. Additionally, those who were used to compulsively quote posting everything felt hand-tied. I personally think it's better without, but for several of my friends it was a game breaker.

I consider the art of the patisseur to be one of the noble Fine Arts. The pastry must appeal to the eye, the nose, the mind and not least of all, the tastebuds.
They are made of expensive ingredients and are time-consuming to create, requiring high skill. You must take the time to appreciate them fully before becoming one with them 😊
