Im not talking about these gas guzzling living rooms on wheels that people drive these days.

The SQUAD car and the Lightyear boast enough solar capture to satisfy most of my daily/weekly transportation needs (20-40km/day). I dont need to drive 500km a day. I just want to maximize the amount of solar power my car can capture by itself so I can get the most out of it between charges.

Any more "free" power helps. If It can keep the A/C running, or the console, it's useful.

So, if you outfitted all the windows with these, AND used PV panels on the other available surfaces, you could get much more than 25% of the building's power needs purely from solar, interesting.

This would be ideal in certain places where skies are more often clear, of course, but this could save a whole lot of money in the long term, and reduce aerosol pollution. Cool.

I would like to see electric cars with a PV roof, and these things for windows.
