Interestingly, over the last 13 years, the Conservatives have been busy removing funding from education, health, infrastructure, policing, law, and even the army. They are in the first group, where every man is for himself - with them giving each other a helping hand to ensure that they get to the trough first.

The thing is that, even with this ethos of not paying for anything in society, they have still increased taxes and doubled our debt whilst halving our economy.

Here is a thought for you to ponder;

"Taxes are how you build society."

Some people think that the only taxes you need to pay are to fund the army, for the protection of the country, and the rest is down to you. The problem is, that ISN'T a society. Its every man for himself.

Other people, such as myself, think that taxes should pay for education, health, infrastructure, policing, law as well as the army. Now if we had such a thing funded by taxes, then we would have a society.

It took 2 years to build this size of Direct Air Capture (DAC) plant which sequesters CO2 out of the air.

It will apparently capture the equivalent of about 36 seconds of global emissions annually (or 5 Taylor Swifts as we can now call it).

Now we just need another 876,000 of them.

Come on guys...even they must see this isn't going to work.

What would happen if the richest 10% reduced their CO2 emissions to the EU average (which BTW is a nice standard of living).

Answer, there would be a 35% decrease in global CO2 emissions.

So, all would be fixed, if we could limit the excesses of the top 10%.

Think about this when you hear Suella Braverman saying to Lineker that the difference between her comments and those of the Nazis was that hers are lawful.
