"Although this first flight will not carry a crew"

lol. So they are scared to send anyone to the moon in 2022, but did send a bunch of people in 1960s, no problem.

Thanks for proving the OG moon landing was a fraud, NASA.

This new mission, if it even happens, is a worthless plundering of the treasury. Just another unmanned flight that at best doesn't do anything.

Absolutely zero critical evaluation in that piece. And this is supposed to be an *encyclopedic* article?

Now let's change one word: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/White_genocide

    :D

Of course, for the people in the know, it's long been obvious that Wikipedia is compromised as much as Google or the "fact checking" sites.

    >After setting up a Gmail account in the mid-aughts, Mark, who is in his 40s, came to rely heavily on Google. His Android smartphone camera backed up his photos and videos to the Google Cloud

This cuck happily let Google's tentacles grab his whole life for the last 15 years, or more. And well, his cuckery finally got him.

Don't be a cuck. Trash Google! (and all other big tech corporations)

@keith Well of course, if it's "significantly more powerful", it will load faster. That's the whole point of the test.

Now try the same with xfce 4.12.

I don't have anything residual, this KDE installation is completely new. And I even disabled compositor etc.

What you think is "quite low" won't be the same for someone with old hardware. So, my test seems to show that new DEs are unusable for someone with old hardware.

@Sprinklednights Some programs are written specifically for KDE, but if you can find replacements (I think the only ones without are like, Krita and Kolourpaint, maybe), then yeah, it's nothing.

Actually, Slackware switching from KDE 3 to 4 made me seek another distro then (this was somewhere in 2008). That was before I knew how to, like, just install all the packages I want myself etc. But I knew enough to drop a trash DE when I saw it. And KDE 5 is even worse.

KDE Plasma loads for 70 seconds on a laptop with 4 GB RAM and a 2.4 GHz processor. Xfce 4.12 takes 7 seconds.

Measured from startx command up until menus become usable.

Windows is probably worse, so no wonder normies get all the newest hardware.

@amolith What are you going to do about the ads that are outside? You don't own the land.

Now, most people think that it's wrong to just rip the ads off. I disagree, and that's the path I recommend.

In the end, it's about human good vs profits, and this world chose profits.

Mozilla just brought in this new "product officer" that has a past at Twitter, FB and Microsoft: https://blog.mozilla.org/en/mozilla/steve-teixeira-mozilla-new-chief-product-officer/

Let's make some guesses at what new trash Moz is going to come up with. Maybe an AI misinformation detector? Or maybe their fake "privacy ads" will finally enter circulation?

Is the state's overreach enabled by people registering their kids at birth?

I mean, if people didn't do that, the state would have no data about who lives where. They couldn't send them to school, shove vaccines into their arms or send them to die in some dumb war.

Sure, we will have to incur some pain at first, if we don't register our kids. But "no pain, no gain". We have to stand up sometime, to create a better world. Otherwise we will end up in one that is totally dystopic.

All the three "facts" in that list are actually lies. So I guess they should remove them all, but an empty list would look kind of stupid. Maybe add "The COVID vaccines are a pointless poison designed to make you sick and give an excuse to discriminate against the unvaccinated. Enjoy, sheeple!"

Anyone still using Cuckbook is hopeless.

    >post anything the elites don't like
    >it gets predictably censored
    >"How dare you censor me!!"

I did tests a few months back, FF ended up taking A LOT more memory than Chrome (and all its forks). All done with an empty tab and the same setup, so unbiased.

@ryo I can't imagine being a normie during covid, and having to keep two meters distance from each other while standing in queues for alcohol, etc. Or even having your vax pass checked, which I'm sure has happened in flights etc. Fortunately all the places I care about didn't give a shit about covid restrictions.

The marketing slogans are funny. Chrome = simple? lol. Firefox = LESS memory usage? Less than what? (it's actually the biggest memory hog out of *all* browsers - yes even Chrome). And then:

    >You can also learn about alternative browsers that may fit you even better than the one you are currently using

Where are the alternative browsers? Those are all mainstream.
