Businesses blindly cucking out to psyops is what made me into a half-hikikomori.
I still go to convenience stores, I still go out for walks, I still go to my girlfriend and all that, I just no longer go to malls, dojin stores, game centers, and other places where I've met hostile staff before (hostile because I refuse to wear a mask).

I even had one case at Sogo last year where I was being chased by a staffer at all times wherever I went for not wearing a mask, and he even went as far as to call the police, and I just escaped by elevator.

And this is how you permanently lose customers mind you, because this one guy singlehandedly made me never want to visit Sogo ever again, doesn't matter if we're in the middle of a psyop or not, I'm simply done with that mall for good.
    Apologies no longer work either.

@ryo I don't tolerate masks well, once my breath causes the inside to get humid I start to feel dizzy. I avoided wearing them whenever possible mostly for that reason.

The local comic shop decided to go full coof crazy and demanded I wear it and insisted it be over my nose. I explained the dizziness and was told it didn't matter, wear the mask.

Haven't been back since. I'd prefer to go to a local business but now online stores get my money.

@Beefki I don't mind those that ask to wear one, as long as they don't actually enforce it.

@ryo I can't imagine being a normie during covid, and having to keep two meters distance from each other while standing in queues for alcohol, etc. Or even having your vax pass checked, which I'm sure has happened in flights etc. Fortunately all the places I care about didn't give a shit about covid restrictions.

@digdeeper Soycial distancing and lethal injection passports were almost entirely absent here in Japan.
Only Comiket required the lethal injection passport last winter, but they dropped it for the summer Comiket that'll take place tomorrow and the next day.
As for soycial distancing, I think I only ever seen it actually being enforced in front of a Crapple store in Kawasaki and a Nike store in Chiba, but nowhere else.

@digdeeper @ryo And imagine actually believing that the difference between 6 feet and 5’11” could be a matter of life or death. The whole ordeal was really revealing of how little people actually think things through.
