    The 20th century labor movement, denied death for over 100 years by fundies unfamiliar with the genuine struggle for liberation. Lifelessly shambles forward in a world actively designed to prevent its spread.

    The industrial worker. Once the universal icon of the proletariat, is now a pornagraphic fantasy as the employee became the contractor. An atomized and disposable ronin whom devotes their mind body and soul only temporarily, before being thrown out when no longer of use to look for a new master.


    Art and entertainment has long since lost any ability it may have had to act as a medium of “revolutionary messaging”. The degradation of culture through the streaming model, generative ai, corporate consolidation, and franchising has worked to ensure that everything, even what ostensibly intends to be anti-capitalist critique, ends up nothing more than pro-capitalist pable.

    Even the very concept of communication has been ransacked and destroyed through the atomization of the internet. What was once an arguably physical place (the family computer/the computer room) you went to in order to access information or make connections has become ether slot machines designed to hijack ones dopamine receptors for the express purpose of rotting ones brain enough that they start genuinely supporting their own oppression. Or isolated hugboxes.

    And yet the specter of communism persists. It persists because its “followers” bad mouth anyone and anything that thinks to critique the shambling corpse. It persists because its followers actively deny any attempts at the synthesis of any new ideas. It persists because, no matter how much they “acknowledge” that the world has changed, They will never accept it, they will never imagine anything new

And I fully agree with op that generals is the worst of the ones they where involved in. But you're forgetting the giant elephant in the room that is tibtwilight and the massive shit it took on C&C. It makes generals and even red alert 3 look competent by comparison
