     @Forestofenchantment @anemone every laptop cpu is soldered now. you can still buy a Dell with socketed RAM or certain lenovos.

     @sendpaws @anemone Haswell only had like 4 socketed CPUs. Ivy Bridge was the last to do that for every SKU.
