He’s a simple and reserved man, he’s very nice and gentle. I’ve been on several video calls with him, I showed him protests in solidarity with Gaza, and he showed me Gaza. Anyone hosting his campaign would do something amazing.

I’ve been without news from @mohshbair for a couple days. I hope he’s all right, I imagine he’s recovering from his burn.

I noticed he’s not received any donations in over 48 hours. I know his family’s apartment was bombed and they’ll need to rebuild their life. May I ask his friends to share his fundraising campaign? Many thanks!

@aral all right, glad that you agree. Please be mindful and very gentle when expressing doubts about a Gazan’s account legitimacy.

@aral I’m not saying you’re wrong in these specific instances, but please consider the stress and terror and despair these people have been experiencing for almost 2 years. It can lead to frantic, spammy, disruptive and angry and impatient behaviour.

I know for example that @mohshbair’s account was repeatedly suspended from Bluesky because of that. He’s learned how to behave the hard way.
