I’ve been without news from @mohshbair for a couple days. I hope he’s all right, I imagine he’s recovering from his burn.
I noticed he’s not received any donations in over 48 hours. I know his family’s apartment was bombed and they’ll need to rebuild their life. May I ask his friends to share his fundraising campaign? Many thanks!

However, I had a phone call about ten days ago with a friend who works there who said that they had almost no presence/effect there at the moment. Things might have changed since then but I’d be surprised given Israel and Trump’s view of the agency and the UN in general. I do hope things change and that they are able to be effective.

  Je crois que vous n'aviez pas raison. UNRWA travaille la-dedans - il ne leur est permis de livrer le manger (ca reste en Egypt) - mais il travaille la-dedans en faire d'autres choses. Leur CE l'a explique au BBC cet apres-midi. L'avenir de Gaza depend de UNRWA.

  Je comprends votre point de vue mais l'UNRWA ne peut pas travailler à Gaza en ce moment. Je parle d'une urgence humanitaire tout de suite maintenant. Ensuite oui, quand le blocus sera terminé, les organisations pourront travailler. Et oui il faudra beaucoup d'organisations pour tout reconstruire.

  Je regrette que ca ne soit point impossible. Il n'y a pas tant de personnes ici. Faute de mieux, il faut assister les organizations pour reconstruire le pays entier. Ce que vous faites, ca ne sert que d'assister plusieurs. Je continuerai de soutenir UNRWA.

  Selected Palestinians. The whole strip needs incoming resources for all. You do it your way and I'll do it my way. I'm not prepared to institute a hierarchy of Palestinians.

  With Gaza Verify, we avoid indirect costs taken by the NGOs and UN organisations (around 25% of the donation, more with the costs of the salaries of the employees). Trust me, Gaza Verify is the best way, and Aral and Joy need support to manage it. Our donations go directly to Palestinians.

  I trust MSF. They refuse to receive funds from governments. And they are doing an amazing job in Gaza. But they are not 100% efficient because of the blocus. People from Gaza need money to by food and survive.

  I've donated to MSF in the past. I prefer to support institutions for the entire population rather than disperse resources.

  I would go for MSF rather than UNRWA. By experience. Anf I fully support Gaza Verify, launched by Aral and Joy. I really think it's the best way to support palestinians.

  I've just donated again to UNRWA. It's still performing work in Gaza and will need substantial support in the immediate future - and it has issued a request for donations.
