@yomiel @SuperDicq @dps910 it is awesome, better than torrent sites for selection and quality

@SuperDicq @mirq because I knew for a while that I would not remain on windows forever, I'd already been moving my workflow over to linux-native programs like libreoffice so it was a trivial replacement when I finally got it over with and installed KDE Neon.
the only thing that changed was installing programs meant getting them from a package manager in the terminal instead of pulling a binary from a website, hopefully the real one. although I think for a week or two I was using KDE's GUI wrapper for the package manager until I figured out it was a dumb idea and shouldn't exist.

@snacks for instance, lefties thinking that you can tax people and have them produce the same goods as if they were not taxed, when they'll instead produce less because their incentives have changed.

@snacks that's not what the disagreement is over among educated people (the video started with demonstrating that if the machine is 51% accurate EV is better for one)
it's over whether you can change your mind after the robot has made its decision and take both boxes, and that a native payoff matrix suggests that taking two boxes dominates taking one
which is retarded, but the likes of such thought is common among the philosophically illiterate. which is not new ground for Veritasium, their video on confirmation bias clouding even the ability to interpret ratios of numbers for instance.

@Forestofenchantment it makes higher level stuff easier but so does rust, which does so in a far simpler manner

@Forestofenchantment practically everything aside from having low level control, "C/C++" is something only said by retards who don't know either because they're more similar to each other than to JS.
originally it was mainly just errors by exception catching, operator/function overloading and OOP shit
then decades of shit got piled on, and due to backwards compatibility there's at least 3 ways to do everything, the C way, the old C++ way and the modern C++ way, and in two versions there'll be the postmodern C++ way
they also don't have a standard ABI which means compiler toolchains suck even more than they do in C
