@WizardOfDocs i think the capitalists can be included in Pride when they start showing that they genuinely give a fuck. it's not about them, and it's not for them. acting with basic respect should not earn anyone a gold star or a cookie.

just like May Day isn't about getting corporate sponsors for the labour movement. we don't need them, cause we know what they're about, who they are, and what they intend to do.

there is an old mall here which has housed the Hudson's Bay Company for several decades, which has a ground floor walk-through area that goes to the street on the next block. that was where they put the perfume counter. until about ten years ago, when they finally changhed it, i'd hold my breath walking through there.

what's an election? does it build solidarity between workers? will it abolish capitalism and bring greater liberty for all? if not, what's it for?

was anyone even counting when those people were president? the only one i remember that happening with was George W. Bush, and that was also the last time everyone thought it was funny and somehow useful to call fascists ableist slurs instead of naming what they do. that should tell about who cares about counting politicians' lies, and when they decide to do it.

if no one counts the lies, it doesn't mean the lies didn't happen. it means that people with an obvious bias choose to only count lies under certain conditions, but do not count lies when it would mean criticising their equally fascist Democrat party.

it's not false equivalency, it's you having a confirmation bias.

he is leader of a party whose previous leaders include Justin Trudeau, who just told you he's a fascist by saying he's a Zionist "and no one should be afraid to say that" (yes they should.), and his father, Pierre Trudeau, who was in a fascist cult before he became a politician, and if you think that didn't affect him, you are sorely mistaken. the elder Trudeau's cabinet was full of fascists, including Jean Chretien.

if you don't think the Liberals are a fascist political party, you haven't paid attention. if you think the idea is ridiculous, buckle up and don't complain.
