have you seen what's written in dictionaries? they are often wrong and often contain violently oppressive lies. my grandparents had several copies of old Collins' dictionaries full of racist epithets. even the bloody Scrabble dictionary has been pretty racist in its history.

one entire edition of Merriam-Webster had to be recalled because all of the definitions were wrong.

that "You Gotta Eat Here" show was such an example of this. nothing interesting at all, just the same boring greasy food at different greasy spoon restaurants.

@abolisyonista @mu that's always the reason. there is no way that boycotting genocide products causes losses of work hours and wages, unless that's the point. that's boss work.

but with no active campaign, it's going to be pretty incoherent and ineffective to boycott anything. the key is always organising.

the Loblaws boycott was super effective, but should have kept going instead of just stopping for no reason. *no one* went to Loblaws stores for a whole month. they were completely barren of customers. people are rightly pissed and need no agitation at all to boycott a grifting supermarket chain caught *twice* fixing bread prices̵, and will be caught inflating prices again.

i do the opposite, living next to Ottawa's Chinatown. haven't been to a chain supermarket since the Roblaws boycott last year.
