@Wallflower We have lots of issues with our PO as well. If the weather isn't nice or we get too many packages in a week, some of our stuff gets "missed" or accidentally sent back to the hub.

@Wallflower It's odd how USPS went from the only self-supporting government agency to a gutted and sketchy organization. All it took was putting the former CEO of FedEx in charge of it.

I wonder what would happen if I put on a neck gaitor, hat, sunglasses, and sidearm while I went out to mow my lawn today or maybe strapped a rifle to the rider mower. We do get potentially dangerous wildlife in the yard.

I bet one of the Trump-loving neighbors would call the sheriff despite the fact that it is 100% legal so long as I don't leave my property. We have rainbow flags and other liberal markers in the yard.

I'm not in a good headspace today.

Now I'm thinking about the idiot I saw yesterday with an American flag, a Trump flag, and a confederate flag flying in the back of his truck. Um, two of those flags directly oppose each other dude.

What are odds that they set fire to Mount Rushmore and launch fireworks into the spectators on the National Mall (or set fire to it if there are no spectators)

Not sure why this came to mind, but I recalled a former boss (a woman) walking around with a measuring tape on her belt. I suspect it was because of some remodeling being done but when asked what was up with the steel tape she promptly replied "That's my Black & Decker Pecker Checker. I'm seeing who measures up." and then promptly pulled the tape out without removing it from her belt.

Everyone lost it.

The release of Fallout Season 2 feels really badly timed. I'm thinking it won't get as good of a reception with current events.

It says "Photoshopped, but believable for a reason." in the bottom left corner of the picture. If your local MAGA are wearing that, I recommend taking a picture and sharing that instead. Real is much better than fake.

I updated my profile pic and banner for the upcoming US holiday, but it really makes me me wonder. If people can leave their Christmas decoration up until New Years (or beyond) why do we have to be so quick removing Halloween ones?

Tried to read a couple of news stories this morning. It's infuriating to see 6 1-2 sentence paragraphs that say the exact same thing in slightly different ways without actually providing any more information than the headline did.

I suspect Al but I also know this is the result of teaching writing with a focus on word count over quality.
