We weren't hacked. the system is working as designed: the ruling class calls the shots, and our capitalist-owned political landscape keeps us bound to them in perpetuity.
Some people use the prefix "zio", which was literally popularized by antisemitic white supremacists and fascists. I don't like that term for the reason that it originated from the far right.
Its ok to criticize Zionists. Zionism is itself the word Zionists use to describe their ideology, and it's ok to say things like "Zionists are wrong" or "Zionism is terrible" or even "the Zionists are promoting a modern form of fascism". There is a World Zionist Organization, and Zionism is the official ideology of the state of Israel.
It's not ok to adopt the vocabulary of David Duke, or antagonize Jewish leftists who point it out.

This isn't the Khmer Rouge. This isn't the Kim family. This isn't Mao Zedong. This isn't Africa.
This is white people doing racist white people shit. This is capitalism in action. This is European-style fascism in the imperial core. It is an organic and logical extension of American history. Own it. Your ideology has failed.
If you want to do comparisons, there's literally Europe and all of American history. So many examples to choose from that don't involve red scare propaganda or white supremacist "we're just like the darkies now" type shit.
If you live in an authoritarian society where you are deprived of any meaningful democratic representation, you have the right to use violence.
And before people jump on my back about it, I just implore them to learn about slavery, the Holocaust, apartheid, and essentially any other case of extreme state violence throughout history. Apartheid didn't go away because the black South Africans asked "pretty please".
White people are somewhat alright recognizing the right to resist tyranny on the part of other white people, but deny that recognition to non-white people.
Liberalism is itself the product of armed struggle. The right to vote is a product of armed struggle.
Nearly every progressive achievement of liberalism throughout history is the direct result of violence used against monarchial tyrants and their supporters.
@fulner I don't think it's how things should be dealt with.
I believe the only way to address the world's problems is to adopt a form of radically democratic socialism and work towards the construction of a classless society.
Trump has objectively committed insurrection against the United States. This isn't about opinions.
Trump incited an auto-coup in an attempt to invalidate the 2020 presidential election and unlawfully install himself as the president for another term.
I am not a patriot, and I profess no love to a constitution that was written by slave owners, rapists, and genocidaires. I am just stating the facts and my interpretation of them.
A Palestinian in Gaza has infinitely more courage than any US soldier.
Palestinians shouldn't need courage to survive. They should be playing with their kids and celebrating the spring, not fearing when their homes will be destroyed by US bombs or having to deal with Israeli occupying soldiers.
Nevertheless, the Palestinians stay true to themselves and do everything they can to stay in their homes, all while the world's superpowers have turned their backs on them.
They have a word for it.
That word is "sumud". In English, it approximately means "steadfastness".
The Palestinians deserve to live. They deserve justice. They deserve the same freedom I deserve.
And one last sidenote:
The powerful figures that want to destroy trans people in the West like me are the same exact folks who are spearheading the genocide of Palestinian people.
The same right wing antisemites and racists who want a White Supremacist, Christofascist United States are the same people who declare their unconditional support for the destruction of Palestine and its replacement with a ultra-Zionist, theocratic-fascist regime from the River to the Sea.
Right leaning person, thinking they have owned me: "you just want free stuff, you commie"
What's so bad about making essential resources available in a way that gives more people access? Don't we WANT people to enjoy nice things in this society?
I think the real question is, "why do you want to keep things like healthcare, education, and housing behind a paywall, you bozo?"
The people of Gaza have no legal protections whatsoever. They have no peaceful route to solve their problems.
When they protest, Israeli snipers shoot them in the head. There are no elections in Gaza. The territory is under a constant siege. A good chunk of things in Gaza are controlled by Israel, such as the population registry and resources going into the territory.
So can you entirely blame them when they turn to violence?
