Textbook example of how to lose a long-time customer:

For over a decade I used Capital One 360 Savings accounts because I could easily have different accounts for different savings purposes (car, rainy day, etc.). They historically had a decent APY too. Then they quietly changed the APY to 1% without notifying customers. There's an ongoing class action settlement about this, which is how I found out.

Anyway, I've moved my savings funds to a different institution with 4.65% APY. Good reminder to check account rates every 6 months or so and move money around to the best deal.

The studs in my walls are a rapidly shifting network. My stud finder is largely useless, but a magnet stud finder helps hold the stud in place long enough for me to get a screw in.
