@whitequark@G_glop Full catalog page is https://suddendocs.samtec.com/catalog_english/hhsc.pdf (You already had this, but I had to dig a bit to find it.) There seems to be nothing JTAG specific about it; I wonder why they reference JTAG at all. They say it's ribbon coax, but I don't understand how they wire it, as they appear to have one coax per connector pin position. I assume that goes to the center pin, but then what is tied to the shield? They don't designate any connector pins as being ground or shield.
@tchambers@j12t It's a Utah law, so it's clearly not "each state does." And I don't think it's a matter that the state of Utah does, or somewhere they'd reference "standards as selected or promulgated by the Utah Department of Blah Blah."
@j12t@tchambers Who determines "the extent technically feasible"? How much work is a media company required to perform in order to make it technically feasible? What keeps Facebook from just answering all requests with "not technically feasible"?
@whitequark I can confirm from my experience in the ER 10 days ago. On ketamine, I just wanted to live and let live, and not hassle anyone. Oddly enough, that's the same thin I want normally, though it was more fun feeling that way on ketamine.
@jalefkowit Which nevertheless spawned a parody, by the American Comedy Network, as the B-side of their song about the breakup of AT&T: https://youtu.be/HVIIRS4aMH0
I'm developing a new programming language, Subjective C. The source program is reported as erroneous if the compiler doesn't like the coding style, naming conventions, or algorithms. The language standard states that the specific criteria are implementation defined.
Dear LazyFediverse, What internet service do people like for ad-hoc private file sharing (example, transfer a 35 MB PDF file)? Or is there something I should install on my own server? I've run ftp and http servers in the past, but I don't feel like I want to build my own thing right now
How much public information is there about the "p-code" used in early versions of Microsoft application software, including MultiPlan, Word, Excel, and probably others? They originally had a proprietary C compiler named "CS" that produced the p-code. There are claims that p-code support was added to the Microsoft C Compiler, but I haven't found any actual documentation of that.
@vnikolov@AmenZwa@larsbrinkhoff@amszmidt@dimpase@trofi The PDP-10 most certainly DOES have addressable bytes. That's the subject of section 2.3 of the System Reference Manual. In theory, that was an optional feature of the earliest PDP-10 processor, the KA10, but there is no evidence that DEC ever sold a KA10 without the option.
