@alxsim @polotek @neckspike this is one of the strangest feature choices made in recent Mastodon memory.

The THEORY is that you want to know about (potential) abuse involving one of your users (victim, affiliate, etc). But it doesn't always force the report to include the post in question, and sometimes even that post context isn't enough to understand why the report is coming to you, so it's... messy.

I assume much feedback has been filed and ignored about this (I've given up)

Dear #AVGeeks : help me figure out why B6 448 diverted to RIC!

LAS-JFK, took a hard right turn around Chicago along with a big ground speed drop at 2049Z. No big police or emergency vehicle presence at RIC, no obvious maintenance either, just fuel. But that's a hell of a diversion for fuel.

Anyone know Chicago's sector map or bored enough to listen to all of them and see what you can find? I would except MY flight is boarding and LiveATC is terrible on mobile...

Signs you don't use C batteries very much: you find a pack with guaranteed shelf life of 7 years, unopened, and the shelf life end date is in 2017.

My structured wiring cabinet is now less of a disaster. I am not entirely thrilled with the extreme amount of cat 6 and coax the low voltage folks left in the cabinet. I'm going to basically have to trim it all back and re-terminate.

I wouldn't want it to be too short but c'mon, 6ft of excess in a 30" cabinet? On every run?

@szbalint what's funny is that (years ago) even hardware load balancers like F5's products didn't actually do these things correctly natively and you had to go in and optimize them yourself. When that was literally the intended value-add of the specialized product.

It's amazing to me how bad the tech industry is at some of these things.

Hey folks, I get that #DiaperDon is amusing and everything, but let's keep in mind that incontinence is a serious and real medical issue that doesn't deserve to be dragged into this whole shebang in a mocking way.

This does nothing to advance actual conversation on the issues or show #solidarity with anyone - it's purely about bringing someone down, and it's bringing OTHERS down with him, and that's not cool. Let's be better.
