I know this sounds wrong but most working class people either have disgusting manners, are plagued and controlled by feelings of inferiority, or a vile combination of the two. I do not classify people based on their job, and I certainly do not reduce them to it or to their wealth (far from it) but when to do so is the entrenched perspective in society, how humans can and are reduced to a number, then the resulting behavior and culture are no surprise. -

The discussion here was about the latter, which is probably limited to a few Church Fathers and Saints who achieved full illumination. The big picture of the Bible boils down to its general purpose. But what you presented here is something else entirely, namely, the reduction of something irreducibly complex to a sort of caricature. If all problems start with flawed theology, then your approach promises great success. -

@mkraiden @Tony @amerika @p I mean it's how we, humanity, looked at these things for millennia. It's a very recent development that we started thinking only matter exists. One big advantage of the dualistic transcendental model is that it actually can explain everything, yes some parts of it are not falsifiable, granted, but it can explain everything. One big problem of the materialist model is that it cannot explain everything (look at the so-called hard problem) and it has parts that are not falsifiable (claims about the immaterial) so all in all the materialistic model is at a disadvantage to the traditional model. And to say something about the hard problem, it means there is no explanation for the mind, for human consciousness in the materialistic paradigm (they're working on it, good luck) and that's a big big issue. -

I mean you don't need to understand everything in the Bible and I would even say very few people actually understand everything in the Bible perhaps certain church fathers or Saints did. We also need to keep in mind that the purpose and the point is not to understand everything in the Bible but the Bible is there in order to help us come to God, because God is the source of Truth and of Life and not the Bible. The Bible helps to guide us, and it was meant to guide us within the sacred tradition of the Church, the Bible is the written tradition and it was assembled and produced by the Church. -

Traditionalism is not gnosticism we do understand that reality has a physical part, but we also understand that humanity is not just matter, that psychology matters a lot. Actually, not only a lot, but the soul, the psyche, as the first cause, which then affects the physical world. You make it sound as if everything that deviates from materialism is some hocus pocus pray to the Rain god nonsense but this is such a stupid premise and not at all aligned with reality. The fact is that dualism/transcendentalism, the alternatives to your naturalism, offer much better explanations for the human condition, for how we perceive reality, and for how we measure reality. -

That is a distinct Nazi perspective. You claim that "we the Nazis are trad" etc., which is not surprising. Overall though Nazis are Nazis and Traditionalism is its own position. Nazism, as I already mentioned, builds on materialist assumptions, whether they then sprinkle themselves with pagan or Christian colors is of minor importance.
