@BroDrillard I see some credibility in this approach overall, in terms of 'the amount that race and upbringing (both) contribute to character formation' but it is wildly misleading to speak of warrior or criminal genes. There is no evidence that certain genes force certain behavior. For contrast, when experiments have people think of different things, like solving math problems or political issues, nothing trackable or coherent appears in brain scans (as in: this is the algebra brain pattern): it's like some thoughts cannot be measured in any material way whatsoever. While this may not sound directly linked to the 'warrior/gay gene' debate, it shows that our behavior and decisions come with immaterial layers.
With that being said, I find some credibility in the 'breeding out' of certain racial and cultural elements (one carries the other). But the question whether women experienced something similar or not is a separate one, and upon closer inspection, the whole argument doesn't pass the test: Men always used to be the ones who died in wars, WW2 was no novelty here, yet they continued to be warrios, protectors, knights, and police men throughout history. And even today a men is more suited for the military than a woman could ever be.
Carrying that thought further, throughout history women were selected for obedience, versatility at duties at home, nursing of infants, and support for their husbands until the very end; yet, how much of that is still here with us today? The trace of a shadow.
Perhaps of all that shows how miniscule the effect of selection and breeding has on actual human behavior, and how conditioning, propaganda, and education can turn a family-centric society with morals and low-crime into something else entirely, in the span of a few decades. With that being said, race matters, yes, but so does upbrining, individual character, and the environment. To focus only on one apsect is to miss the big picture.
@SuperSnekFriend@All_bonesJones that's a weird study with a hyper specific investigation coming out to make hyper general claims. AI does many things, among them becoming a mental crutch for people too lazy to think. But that's just a fragment of what AI does and how it is used. AI is here to stay, some are getting smarter through it, others are getting dumber. The same happens with all tech, with the Internet, even with Google.
@All_bonesJones I'm seeing it first hand, teachers in good schools already use AI to create exams. They're still grading them by hand though from what I've seen. But AI is already widespread among teachers.

イリエTherapy actually works. But it depends how you define therapy. Therapy, from the Greek θεραπεία (therapeia) meaning healing, is the antidote to Trauma, from the Greek τραύμα (travma) meaning wound. Would an atheist therapist—raised and educated on false assumptions about the human psyche—induce trauma or therapy? Healing or wounding? Rather, can the atheist image of man (an animal without purpose) induce anything but destruction?
How different things become when we allow Christ our Creator to be in charge of our healing. What thousands of men cannot, Christ can and He does: raising you up from the undergrowth full of thorns in which you yourself and others had thrown you; mending your cuts, scratches, and stopping your bleeding. Lending you not only a shoulder so you can walk, but by walking with Him, by taking His paths, by hearing His word, a pair of wings.

@ForbiddenDreamer@p@miscbrains@fluffy crazy how the inherently borderless internet pushes globalist governments to adopt isolationist laws in order to preserve control over the narrative. When China keeps its people on their side of the digital fence, I like to think of it as a safety measure for both sides (sheer quantity + separating cultural forces). When the EU and other Western entities do that, it reeks of tyranny.
@p@fluffy@ForbiddenDreamer@miscbrains@realFapster Coincidentally, as I keep reading about pre and post-revolution France I keep seeing mentions how the press was a cesspit of propaganda, personal vendettas, completely made up or exaggerated rumors, bought support in politics and in the arts, and ideological warfare from the moment censorship was relaxed. lol people just don't like being told what to think, and nowhere is it written that journos have an honor to uphold
@niobleoum@LordMordred@Fash-E True. Actual Turks are Asian, we can recognize them by their essentially Asian eyes. Greeks otoh have one of the lowest Asian admixture in Europe.

イリエGot a copy of Death Stranding (translated to English) and just reading the first page I am surprised to see it's full of bad writing. How much is Titan Books paying those amateurs? No money for editing/proof reading? Perhaps the target audience doesn't care? Otoh, the sheer quantity flooding the market may be impossible to balance with quality editing. On this level, AI can and will replace subpar writers and translators who can't even bother to learn the craft of their trade. A deserved extinction right next to "professional bloggers" lmao. The world is flooded with trash art, AI will actually be an improvement as it at least will get the basics right, while mimicking the human masses by creating soulless and pointless slop. The real gems, the timeless, will remain in human hands, held by those who cared and dared.
@zonk@djsumdog@Wiz the "it's always been there" take is at least a few year old. but that's not the issue, and that's why it's outdated. the issue is we have establishment powers taking this miniscule fringe (and unnatural) presence and boosting it into the mainstream, invading schools and pre-schools with their satanic agenda to demonize the natural and biological order of man and woman. will the actual phenomenon ever go away? unlikely, but will it disappear from the mainstream! undoubtedly, once the establishment cannot get away with supporting anymore, as it inherently does not belong anywhere near it.
