That's why I aim for starch free foods. Cats don't eat shit like peas in the wild so why would I feed my cat food that's 20% peas?

Starch free diet is what you actually want.

A cat eating nothing but muscle and organ meat isn't going to have health issues like that. Same goes for dogs.

Also yeah animals should eat a variety of foods just like us not a single kibble every day. That's missing the point of grain/starch free in the first place.

Cornbread's new food came in!

I got the variety pack so I can see which ones Cornbread likes. This stuff is essentially canned food grade meat. It's not nutritionally complete but that's not a big deal for my case. They have stuff to add to it too make it nutritionally complete if that's what you're after:

Cornbread likes this food but it has seed oil so we're going to try some other foods.

Also it's a family owned American company but they seem to be outsourcing manufacturing to the ladyboy capital of the world. I'd prefer something made in America by an American family owned company.

I have a variety pack of wet food on it's way from that North Carolina company that makes heavy duty industrial machinery and high quality cat/dog/ferret food. It should be here tomorrow.
