     ..but I'm sure if you dig into some of the stuff he's saying, it might have been based on someone visiting two villages in low income countries or something.
     
     Schizo-by-proximity seems like it's just some kind of social conformity mechanism. Also the people who would "hang out" with such people are people in hospitals, and most mental health workers are kinds psychos. So .. lots of conflating factors.
