I just received the email about #DiscoverCard’s transition to being fully integrated into #CapitalOne, including account management through the Capital One app. So I called to ask whether they planned to continue offering the Discover card design that features all account information in #Braille on the face of the card.

I was assured by an agent, who genuinely seemed knowledgeable about the transition, that they would.

Of course, I’ll be monitoring things closely, but it was heartening to hear that answer. And, as I do every single time I contact them, I left positive feedback thanking them for continuing to offer a card design with all account information in #Braille. #Accessibility

@Fragglemuppet @cordova5029 Ah I haven't been bored since I was 5. The father of a friend used to say "boredom is an insult to one's self." I took it to heart and made it my own. If I really can't find something upon which to muse it's time for a nap hahaha.

@Fragglemuppet @cordova5029 I have a few bot accounts too nevertheless on rare occasions I have the experience I menttioned earlier. I suppose it's like life it's different for everyone.

@NicksWorld @Bruce Sure doesn't seem like a good way to get ahead. I mean even if you hate your current employment if you want a reference of any worth why wouldn't you try at least a little to increase your own value if for no other reason than that let alone your own pride in your work. And before anyone flames or @s me I also hate that there's no employer based loyalty to workers as well. Sometimes I hate what this world has become.

How fascinating, I made a post and then I get a reply that tells me I could be banned from the platform as if mastodon is a unified platform. It makes one shake the head in utter wonderment.

Hey #Blind friends on Mastodon I have a question. when in the Facebook Messenger app for #iOS, using #VoiceOver how does one successfully send an audio message? I know how to do it in WhatsApp but can't seem to manage it in the Messenger app. I tried holding the record button, I tried double tapping and letting go I tried double tapping and sliding like one can in WhatsApp and nothing is working. I'm sure it's me.

Hey #Blind friends on Mastodon who use #iOS, perhaps this is old news to some but it's brand new to me. I was setting up a new device today and you could have knocked me over with a feather when #LightDetector appeared once again in my apps available for download. Who knows how long it'll be back for this time but at least for today it's in the App Store and can be found here. https://apps.apple.com/us/app/light-detector/id420929143 I looked on its page but sadly the app developer didn't seem to have any contact info listed. It hasn't been updated in years but does what it does well and for now is back in case anyone wants it again.
