Let me make one thing perfectly clear. I use both JAWS and NVDA becuas they both have practical uses. I use edge and other browsers, either because one crashes or another doesn't, or one works better in a given situation than another. Whether it is brave, firefox, google chrome, or brave, I use what tools I need to. I use an Iphone, because even though android has advanced as far as accessibility goes, the Iphone is what I am comfortable with. I use microsoft windows because I have little choise if I want as much access to mainstream accessible tools as I can get. I have both a PS5 and an xbox because I play games on multiple platforms. I will use the tools at my disposal when the situations present them selvs. Naturally, I wish I could do everything I need to on linux, but this is not possible. I've read this article before about the so-called mis-deeds of the developer of the brave browser. Part of the reason that I don't use it as my prefered browser is that for me, edge and chrome just work better. It has nothing to do with someone's donations. Again, I use the tools I have access to based on my situation.

@BTyson @tspivey @NVAccess I fully concur with all the points mentioned. I will refrain from updating my version of NVDA should this transpire. Although integrating NVDA remote as a component of the primary NVDA package might seem beneficial, the resultant compromise is not advantageous for the end user. It is almost as if the argument is that they will be provided with NVDA remote and other crucial add-ons deemed important, but are restricted to downloading add-ons solely from the specified add-on store, and your only screen reader open to you is NVDA at startup. I acknowledge that the latter point is somewhat exaggerated, however, in my view, there should be no reason for users to be restrained from using their preferred speech synthesizer on the UAC screens or at startup. From a user's standpoint, even contemplating such an idea is illogical.

Okay I am having a serious problem with Reaper. I have an mkv file that I want to edit, and I have the project edited. The project time is 92 minutes, and I want to convert it to a video file. The render status says that it is is going at 0.0 x realtime, which means, nothing is happening. I updated reaper to the latest version. I have no idea why this is happening.
