@petit_suisse @aral @steven We don't have a formal partnership or anything, but we are certainly happy to work together for user's benefit - just recently I was speaking with a Libre Office developer around functionality they were hoping to implement such that it would work with both NVDA on Windows and Orca on Linux - things like that benefit eveyrone.

This Global Accessibility Awareness Day, we have something special to share! @github made a movie about our founders Mick & Jamie & the story of not only NVDA, but also OSARA. Two life-changing open-source projects. Both actively providing access & employment to blind people around the world.

NV Access is pleased to announce that version 2023.3 of NVDA, the free screen reader for Microsoft Windows, is now available for download. We encourage all users to upgrade to this version, which is the last version compatible with Windows 7.

This release includes audio updates and refreshable OCR. There are fixes for Braille, the add-on store, Office, Edge, Calculator and more!
