Yeah. It's different in a *Women & Economics*-style argument if you want to warn that Capitalism will leave us hamstrung by design in that traditional lifestyle if we find that the man we chose for a mate isn't much of a person.

A few months ago, I had to verbally support someone I know who cut their dad from their purse strings. Dad was never going to get better, only more demanding and less prone to disclose why he constantly needed money. :( (Though we all have theories.)
