Had a dream that I met some aliens again but this time the plot was that aliens are TERRIFIED of us. Basically the entire universe had this unspoken rule that they do not go near humans and pray we never come to them. And every signal must be ignored. Dark forest is kind of real, but we are seen as the darkness in the forest and no one else is. Because are just that fucking strange.

Apparently life wasn’t uncommon but intelligent life was and aliens had this fearful spiritual reverence for humans, akin to seeing us as children of beings from other universes. They believed fully that humans are the only species in existence to have been contacted and maintained communication with beings from other dimensions (angels, demons, etc). The greatest fear is that despite our civilization being technologically very young we make up for it with the powerful spiritual abilities that we possess as a species. And if humans knew the secrets of the universe we could basically bend reality to our will and reshape existence itself.

Of course after that long tangent of being explained that by an alien I asked them what makes humans so scary even without that power.

Antisemites more often than not try to force Jews to prove reality to them in a public setting. It is an ancient tradition, and is not unique to Nazis. And they never come to an argument in good faith.

There is no sense or reasoning with an antisemite. They are not there in good faith. They know what they are saying in most cases is absolutely fucking nonsense and they just don't care. When they request a debate, they want to spread their hatred to others and intentionally inflict trauma upon Jews. It is a means of power, and the only way to win their game is by not engaging and explicitly removing their platform.
