I knew a very skilled and fun secular artist dude back in the mid-80s. One day he pretty much disappeared and abandoned his creative work and all his friends and family because he met a "nice Christian girl" who convinced him to do so. He was absorbed into the Church, essentially. ("Washed in the blood of the lamb" and so on.) So some guys really ARE looking for that total change of life, I suppose. But I doubt it's very many of 'em.

I'll be curious to hear if we get a lot of noise. El Sid is old and I think his hearing is going. The last couple of years, he hasn't seemed to have noticed it much.

He WILL notice the high heat, though. He always gives us the most unforgiving looks before hunkering down in the studio closet, only coming out at dinnertime.

Plenty of ice cubes ready for his water dish, though. I checked this morning.
