@Jackiemauro That's my reality since a couple of months as a French born Canadian. My "village" is very limited, and money wont make people care more about your kid. Just less likely to do wrong. As a french living in Canada i can confirm. It took me a couple of years to adapt to NA "food style". We (french / european) usually find food serving too big and food being sweeter and fatter. Of course not everybody eat too much fat / sweet here.
But I guess if you sum those 3, you probably get a bit less calories than usual. Consequently your body take from its reserves to get what's missing
