    "Yes, AI is increasingly taking over white-collar jobs, with experts predicting rapid automation across professional roles. 

    Mustafa Suleyman, Microsoft’s AI chief, has warned that most white-collar jobs—such as those of lawyers, accountants, project managers, and marketers—could be fully automated by AI within the next 12 to 18 months.  He stated that AI is approaching "human-level performance" on most professional tasks, enabling systems to handle routine office work with minimal human input. 

    This trend is already underway:

    Salesforce’s Marc Benioff said AI is already handling up to 50% of the company’s workload. 

    Ford CEO Jim Farley predicted AI will replace half of all white-collar workers. 

    JPMorgan Chase and Goldman Sachs are using AI to reduce staffing needs. 

    Amazon, Palantir, and Klarna have cut or plan to cut jobs due to AI adoption. 

    Entry-level roles in coding, customer support, and financial analysis are especially vulnerable, with AI capable of writing, editing, and debugging code independently. 

    While some argue the full impact will unfold gradually, economists warn there’s "much more in the tank"—suggesting deeper disruptions ahead.  Research also indicates a long-term shift: AI may reverse historical trends by reducing demand for highly educated white-collar workers while increasing demand for middle-skilled blue-collar jobs. 

    The pace of change is accelerating, with AI models becoming easier to build and customize—as simple as writing a blog or creating a podcast, according to Suleyman. "
