I just realised Rob Halford is a cat fan and now I love him more.

I’m listening to ‘Chained To The Bottom Of The Ocean’.
In some ways it’s frustrating because the ocean is like a two hour drive away, and saltwater-resistant chains are hard to find.
But the music is really good, so it’s a toss up.
I’m listening to Funeral Doom whilst the cat is licking the top of my head for no discernible reason.
It’s *an experience*.
Now playing ’Persistence Of Time’ by Anthrax.
I’m not super familiar with all of Anthrax’s albums, but this one struck me as a bit more ambitious than others.
Listening to ‘Turn Loose The Swand’ by My Dying Bride because I cannot abide by those swans being constrained any more.
Run free swans, to this emotionally intense Castlevania-ish music!
Whilst listening to this music,I’m imagining the most heart-wrenching, melodramatic swan escape narrative possible.
Run to freedom, you forlorn fowl!
@Kitty @derthomas @HailsandAles @HauntedOwlbear Right now I might say:
1. Meliora
2. Infestissumam
3. Opus Eponymous
4. IMPERA
5. Prequelle
But I might give the other albums a revisit.
@Kitty @derthomas @HailsandAles @HauntedOwlbear I also think Square Hammer is great.
I also enjoy some of their odd cuts, like their cover of ‘Stay’.
Listening to Bloodywood this evening.
I think there’s so much great stuff in the 2022 album ‘Rakshak’.
The song ‘Yaad’ about a beloved pet always gets me.
(Give me a sec to type the hashtags. My eyes have gone all watery for some reason)
@HauntedOwlbear They've done some good covers. Dio's 'Rainbow In The Dark' and Alice In Chain's 'Down In A Hole' jumps to mind
I'm on a Kemmis-bender this afternoon.
I like all their albums, but Hunted probably works best.
I like that all their album covers look like D&D campaign books.
I’m out seeing Cirith Ungol tonight at ‘The Baso’ in Belconnen.
I won’t lie, it looks quiet prior to the support acts starting. But the folk who are here look like fans.
Oh no. They’re out due to illness!
I suppose I've always held back from promoting Electric Callboy cause a lot of their stuff is ... um ... let's say 'Not Safe For Work'.
But what I want to share is the wild inventiveness.
Maybe I should recommend 'We Got The Moves' and just let people decide whether they want to proceed from there.
