the frustrating parts is i do think Concepts of Chivalry are good, not just for women but for men too, in an ironic twist feminism is a movement against Chivalry, feminists throw the word "Equality" around and it makes a good slogan, except feminists don't want women to be equal, they want women to be the same as men, which is a big difference.
the negative consequences is that the cultural change it brought upon also affected men, you don't see virtuous Types nowadays that often trying to be chivalrous, back then it would be principles that guided a man, now if someone is opening doors for women, in a sort of self-fulfilling prophecy, that is a type of man who is doing it purely to get their attention.
to put it in a different way, back then it used to be done for self-respect, now it's about self-humiliation.

@sun a good long term solution, however, for now, there is a level of correction that has to be done, because for europe especially, it's quite dire, and even if you stopped immigration altogether, it would still be not enough, too much.
also, it would have to be quite high in requirements, the list of policies that would have to be changed would be huge.
the problem immigration also has is that it is not taken as a bi-partisan issue at all, it pretends to be, but really isn't, and is especially disingenious.
you would prioritize migrants coming from culturally close (which means often geographically close) countries, for asylum seekers, very small number, and if it is done for the sake of Good, then Women and Children get priority, i don't see a reason why a fighting age healthy man gets asylum over women and children if they are escaping war torn countries (especially since there is a lot of Corruption in that department, the scum of the country get to climb up the criminal world enough to get that plane ticket, also the survivorship bias, what man with solid Character will abandon his family and country and run away).
Women and Children also have the benefit of being much more socially adaptive, Children grow around their new environment, and women are very social and adaptive.
i actually know an asylum seeker myself, however keep in mind it's more of a show of the quality of his Character rather than the system or the populations, he used to be a Child Soldier, while he was pretty absent minded in school was always there if somebody needed help with something, also was always calm and reasonable.
nowadays hes a Security Guard, he's a good shot go figure.
nevertheless, as it is now, from the perspective of europe, Deportations will have to happen, and it would take a decade or 2 where then you could open up the *discussion* of opening up migration policies a bit, if countries (not GDP) show to not even benefit from it, then there is no reason, but the current problems get priority, as they are dire.

we read the Book of Job today.
we read a chapter and discuss, this is how i've been doing bible study, and i think it's a good way to study and connect.

@IlDuWuce i have gone through the entire New Testament essentially, but i have mostly read the Gospels and Epistles.
My Godfather is a Deacon, and the other Brother is really well read, of course i do read other material besides it, and do research on my own when it comes to Exegesis as well.
thanks a lot for your advice tho, will get some more material as i go on, so far, the Bible is the Primary Source, and i think reading it on it's own is a good way to start when understanding a book.
