Debating whether to add a salary transparency page to my website.

I hate how salary is barely talked about and how that creates opportunities for companies to underpay skilled workers.
I generally just tell mine, when someone wants to know or it’s relevant to the conversation for some reason. Don’t see why not.

And I’ve seen a few people just put that info on their website to help normalize having it out there. And it feels right to also do that because I like seeing it.

Yet I don’t know if that could have some unexpected side effects. I wouldn’t know any, but people on the internet often manage to surprise me.

Any thoughts on this, fedi?

Yeah, probably for the 16 bit ASN numbers. But if one doesn't have any reason to care, as I do, getting a 32 bit ASN through a LIR is nice and simple.

Depends a bit on the LIR you use, I got mine through iFog, which seem to be well recognized and there it's now 77 CHF / year for an ASN + a /48 PA IPv6 prefix:

There's also others like Servperso who do it for 100€ / year, but there it's also a /44 PA prefix:

Maybe there's also cheaper options to just get an ASN from a LIR and find the prefix somewhere else. I know someone on Fedi gave away prefix for free to people.
