My main question is whether it'll become a hub for discussions, perhaps interactions with authors. Like comments section of website, I guess. Hope so.

@mike @waltmossberg @Gargron totally right - his bad experience does seem a bit unfortunate, as communication on Mastodon between servers is pretty seamless. Yes you can click to others' home server pages where you're not logged in, but actually quite hard to do unless there was a link to it.

Your point well made though. The easiest thing to say to a new thing = no thanks, too hard, and then leave. Hope doesn't happen here.

@stpaultim I have used this quite a bit. Works v v nicely. The only thing is that its compose function is not great - you can't just copy paste images in (I think) and also does not predict hashtags like other mastodon clients do (you have to type them all out, but upgrading to premium stores hashtags).

Phone apps, as @chpietsch indicated, also allow #scheduling v well - e.g. @apps @megalodon

But @bufferapp remains the best desktop solution to scheduling on #Mastodon , personally. #FediTips

Is there a reason why from one #pixelfed instance i can't see (public) photos and content from accounts on other instances?

At the moment the issue is from my @pxlmo@pxlmo.net / @pxlmo@pxlmo.com account, I'm unable to view content that is definitely there on @pixelfed and on @metapixl accounts.

@apps I'm regularly having an issue whereby the app crashes when composing a new message. Thankfully a near recent draft is saved so I can carry on where I left off, but I'll admit it's a bit annoying.

Only unifying observation is that it happens when composing long-ish posts with a lot of hashtags. Could this be a reason / has it been observed by others too? Thank you.

Can you migrate from one #pixelfed instance to another, carrying over your followers, as per #mastodon?

@apps thank you. I've tried pull to refresh and now also removing and adding account. Still no fix. Maybe to do with my pixelfed server.

I have almost no photos & contacts, so will move to another one and see if that fixes the issue.
