@iamthemostnormalhumantrustme @lord_nougat @Turkleton I’m certainly grateful for the mind-bending far out adventures I had when I was young and foolish; if not for them it’s entirely likely I’d have been a normie. More “successful” perhaps at worldly attainments; but honestly I don’t really even know that. I can attest it makes it a lot easier to understand spirit - not merely in some distant, lofty philosophical sense, so much as a living tangible participant in day-to-day outcomes.

As it’s something so tremendously personal, I’m not at all qualified to recommend any such pursuits to anyone; but in my case it had a valuable time and place.

@toiletpaper We’re actually strikingly similar, you and I. If I also believed as you are saying, that Traditional Christian Faith is “groveling before an imaginary super jew”, I’d make fun of it, too. I did in fact regularly insult Christians and Christianity for much of my young adult life. In time however, I came to realize it was a mistake. I was obliged to change my mind in the face of overwhelming evidence. Have you ever changed your mind ? Do you believe all the same things you believed as a kid ? Did anyone ever ask you that ?
