    @DC5FAN There the limit is the speed of the robot factories.

    Workers doing the most dangerous jobs the robots can take over will be replaced first, if only to save on insurance costs.

    The rest will depend on when the employer put in their order for humanoid robots. Perhaps it will be first come, first served.

    At 10 million robots a year it will take about 16 years to replace all American workers.

    @Bernard In college they straight up lie about this. Recent out of Africa was always a contrived hoax. DNA evidence killed it over a decade ago just based on the genetic distance between the major racial groups. Pics related.

    @petra Chinese scientists rejected out of Africa and endorsed multi-region origins some time ago.

    They know niggers are not human, and they have their doubts about us!

    @ins0mniak That's most Asians.

    Chinese fossil hunters are legit, they found the bones proving that intelligent ancestors existed in China much earlier than Western researchers would admit.

    Democrats might run against AI research in 2028.

    In which case they will face the united opposition of Musk and Zuck and billions of bot accounts.

    @NoDoxGregBrady That was me. That's a foregone conclusion.

    Pajeets are making too much money using AI to do their jobs for them to oppose AI.

    @brokenshakles I'm talking about vibe coding pajeet script kiddies having AIs do all their work, not about pajeets working for the AI companies, though that too occurs.

    @DC5FAN The timeline is:

    First replaced: Repetitive tasks with no political salience done entirely on computer.

    Second replaced: All non-coding tasks with no political salience done entirely on computer.

    Third replaced: The remaining humans whose work is done entirely on the computer, with a tiny number of exceptions who must be diplomatic.

    @p I'm going to go way out on a limb and guess that the fact games stopped using procedural generation and the deterioration in the quality of programmers are related.

    @p The rich SV touts singing the praises of AI coding are paying for the high end versions with maximum context. They also might be mediocre coders for whom an AI assistant is a godsend.

    Apparently Anthropic has 300,000 customers on the $100,000 a year business plan, so either there are 300,000 suckers or it's good for something.

    Games have been slow to adopt generative AI because until very recently the models could only generate a few seconds of coherent footage. With GOOG's Genie that may have changed in just the last two months.

    On the other claw Lucasfilm had procedurally generated fractal terrain in Rescue on Fractulus in 1984.

    @p In the sixties, seventies and early eighties Marvel Comics had a 'house style' - drawing in the 'mighty Marvel manner.' This style was a watered down composite of Kirby and Ditko. The hacks who followed the style guidelines are precisely who AI can replace.

    Same goes for knockoffs of the stereotypical Archie comics, Pixar or Simpsons style.

    @p It's kind of a trade secret because what they want is plagiarism.

    The method would be to create a learning AI and then hand raise it with high quality input. Essentially you tutor it. Once trained it can be replicated and deployed.

    @p The dirty secret of commercial art is sameness is what the client wants. That's why you only get a Blade Runner or The Matrix - something with style - once every decade.

    I am not kidding that you could create a superior AI by raising it like a child. There are people using this approach. Not sure they have the data center juice to make it work tho, all the big money is in big data training runs at the moment.

    @p You would get considerably better results training on professional writing, though that too is obviously very biased. But at least it wouldn't be the ramblings of complete dimwits.

    The image generators are pretty good now, certainly better than most professional artists. But art is held to lower standards - as long as the correct number of fingers are present normies will accept the results.

    If he wants a proper AI Elon should raise one himself.

    @p Yeah, that's why Elon can't stop Grok from being 'woke' - almost all the training spam is saturated with meme malware.

    They're working on training them on much smaller but higher quality data sets but that's a newer trick.
