@BeAware Because sadly the brain and what the meds are actually effecting are not an exact science. To be honest, I'm pretty sure most of are less of we know why this does this to more of "oh hey, on a lot of people it seems to cause this reaction....we have no clue why" This unfortunately can make it absolutely maddening to find one that actually works for you. But it's also a complete misunderstanding, most of the of those that need it for ADHD it reacts differently in their brains anyway.

@BeAware @indigotyrian @LavenderPawprints I find it very concerning. I also feel the problem it's "addressing" is redundant as there are Mute and Block available to everyone anyway.

@BeAware 💯 except for Nintendo, they are honestly due for a new system. The others due to the initial shortage feel like they are barely scratching the surface of what they can do. However, Sony and probably Microsoft both do not want to extend a cycle and put off mid system upgrades or even further out push off the next real generation.

@BeAware Still trying out Ivory, I'm torn between them. I like them both, but yeah Ice Cubes has nearly everything (and a few things I don't think Ivory does) and does it exceptionally well.

@exerra @BeAware There are a few other platforms that can talk to mastadon that let you import posts. But I've always been baffled as you can back them up, why there wasn't an import mechanism. Sure it might have to do change links or something (make them a plain text of the link?) but it should be workable.

@BeAware Will give it a try. I love ice cubes, but it's fun to check out other apps. Sometimes you even find some treasures.

@BeAware Liking it so far, got the tabs set how i like them in ice cubes. Do wish it could do a bit larger font and change the text color. (I achieved similar size effect with telling apple to make it bigger as my eyes aren't as good as they used to be)....now just to see what cool tricks they have that Ive not found yet.

@BeAware So say you wanted a joke feed you could do the hashtags for jokes, dadjokes, puns, and humor and it'd do group search of those into a feed? ("silly" example but you know 😉 )

@BeAware @Vivaldi ahh ok, just fyi pwa’s work on Vivaldi. I keep one up for my Fastmail and an outlook one for work on that machine. Can run about any extension on Google extension store. I have bitten, dark reader, cookie remover, canvas blocker-fingerprint protect, violent monkey, and a few others. Also can load other ad filters.

@BeAware I'm not familiar with it but if you'd like to try an a more ungoogled chromium. I'd recommend @Vivaldi

Built in ad blocker, doesn't really talk to google, and extremely customizable.
