@bmacDonald94 You can download Signal APK directly from https://signal.org/android/apk/ and install it on Android phone without having to log into Google Play. Signal is also available via F-Droid from Guardian Project (https://guardianproject.info/) now.

@bmacDonald94 Signal does not require that your phone is logged into Google. I have it installed on LineageOS phone without Google add-ons.

You can also try using alternative Signal client that can be set up as a primary device on desktop, but I have not tested it myself:

getAccountIdentity always returns E164 (phone number) given the ACI:

Looks like the server can lookup phone number by username.

@vv221 You can also unsubscribe from them. My preferred setup currently is "v=DMARC1;p=reject;adkim=s;aspf=s", the strictest policy possible with no reports. Yet it is still not as strict as I want, because I want DKIM enforced and don't care about SPF. Relying on SPF for authentication is like using Telnet with IP address based authentication instead of SSH, this should have been deprecated long ago.
