@PNS I remember this one crime video I was watching, and some 20 something black kid was running from the cops who were trying to arrest him. His mom was interfering, and kept saying, but he's too fast, you can't catch him, over and over. Implying, if he could outrun the law, he was immune from the arms of justice. I think they shot him eventually. That slowed him down pretty good. @Dan_Ramos

The rolling and keeping sttacks and stuff and drawing maps, I think it's harder today because our attention spans aren't really good. And you need to have a dedicated group. And a really good DM shield with all the charts makes it move quicker. We learned from what people would call a creepy old guy but he was a great DM and shared how it worked, those guys keep a lot of secrets usually.

I still have my original AD&D Players Guide, DM Guide, and a couple Monster Manuals. My brother was the best DM, man he was so good at it. I'm a tard and can't make the magic happen. He could string along the storyline and keep the details straight for a large campaign. Best of times.
