I was just pondering and I'm sure the unions are looking into it as well.
I had almost 2 months in time to burn before I "retired". My last day at work was Feb 5, my retirement day was April 2

But those that are within a year of retirement will try to find a way to get out early if they can.
If someone has 4 weeks vacation and can use this 8 months, tipping out 9 months early is something I'd jump at.

Made that for myself yesterday afternoon, but added some steak fries to it. Steak and fries done in the airfryer sprayed with avocado oil, as was the pan the eggs were cooked in.

Reminds me of going to a ballgame in Pittsburgh. My seat was about 5 rows back of homeplate, and this group of ladies came out to sing the National Anthem. Just as they started to sing the skies opened up and "Florida" rain came down, but these ladies continued to sing. As most of the crowd headed for cover I just couldn't abandon these ladies and stood there in the rain til they finished.

According to the State of NC, you can live in a tent, but the small building that the Amish built for you to use as shelter is dangerous and can't be used. Of course this comes from the Insurance companies.

There are people from all over the country loaning these people their campers to live in, and that's on top of the Amish building these tiny homes, so that people have some shelter besides a tent.

From my hike this morning

Day 5 of no junkfood with the exception of a Root Beer while watching football on Sunday. I also made it to the gym the past two days to do 30 minutes on the treadmill. I'm on my way to getting back into shape and losing this weight, and lowering my BP.
I will have one cheat day in Dec when I go to Vegas and have a steak dinner and dessert and an Irish coffee.
