@KeepTakingTheSoma@HebrideanHecate In Japan, public schools don't have a janitorial staff. Students are required to clean the school on a rotating basis. And learn the lesson "don't make unnecessary work for other people."
@PoserIndex "Throughout history, poverty is the normal condition of man. Advances which permit this norm to be exceeded — here and there, now and then — are the work of an extremely small minority, frequently despised, often condemned, and almost always opposed by all right-thinking people. Whenever this tiny minority is kept from creating, or (as sometimes happens) is driven out of a society, the people then slip back into abject poverty. This is known as 'bad luck'." - Robert Heinlein
@KeepTakingTheSoma@paulschoe@LoriQuaid People with 'XX' chromosomes go here. People with 'XY' chromosomes go there. Now, that wasn't that terribly difficult.
@KeepTakingTheSoma@ILoveAmericaNews We have the uniparty in the US too. But Trump is different. He's been under constant attack by both the Democrats and the globalist Republicans. In the run-up to the 2024 election, they smeared him, they tried to bankrupt him, they tried to jail him. And when all that failed, they tried to kill him. Twice. He's the real deal.
@ILoveAmericaNews@KeepTakingTheSoma I tend to agree with you. A lot of the chamber of commerce / globalist, old-style Republicans are gone or on the way out. Same with the GOP supporters of forever-wars.
The current debate is between the principled (purists) and the pragmatists. I can live with that.
For the first time in my life (and I'm old), the party has several real super-stars in Congress.
@ILoveAmericaNews Getting rid of USAID was huge! I never even realized that the Democrats were doing enormous damage to our country funded with our tax money. Similarly, going after Act Blue (laundering CCP cash) will be huge.
I hope that President Trump can take us back to voting on election day, in person, with paper ballots. Not sure the Constitution will permit him - elections are run by the states.
@ForBritain If you have to worry about posting accurate information, you live in a totalitarian state.
Britain has turned into an Orwellian nightmare where people can be jailed for telling simple truths. It is incumbent on freedom loving people outside of Britain to keep telling these truths on behalf of those who are afraid to speak.
@Flick I've made several trips to Britain in the past. Won't go there now, not due to crime. But because the current government is totalitarian. Same goes for Australia.
