There are around 1 million foreign students in American universities currently.

How many future terrorist leaders are receiving US-taxpayer-funded educations right now?

@ILoveAmericaNews foreign students pay out of state rates and are a major source of income for universities. Declining numbers of domestic students means they are a needed life line and are actually subsidizing local students who pay lower tuition.

@ILoveAmericaNews The problem with a rat catcher is that he is financially connected to the existence of rats.

@Valvoline @ILoveAmericaNews Higher ed is facing a demographic cliff. Colleges and universities have also increased their administrative staff to the point that it often outnumbers faculty. In the case of Stanford, it outnumbers students. So, they need foreign students and large amounts of federal funding. The alternative would be to lay off the assistant to the Senior Vice President in Charge of Equitable Outcomes. Nah, they'd lay off faculty first.
