That's the character of a capitalist corporation that consists of a top-down pecking order. In which the personal \ #business monetary interests of those at the top (the management & share holders sector), focus on driving down costs in the labour sector

As the #UK is lashed again by a storm (fast wind speeds & heavy downpours of rain), l think to myself "I've been expecting this for over a decade". Some of us know that much "stormier times are ahead", in that #ClimateChange is only going to make severe weather related events worse. Even as it happens, some folk are in denial about that. Others are, "what the hell", we'll keep profiteering & \ or using fossil fuels come what may

A #ClimateCrisis is some wakeup call!

Technology is both our friend & foe in this regards__because there are humans that are either our friend or foe. In other words, people that are just getting on with their lives in a generally honest way, or people whose agendas mean they seek to exploit others (inc. their data)

The latter is cronyism

It's in our own personal interests for, e.g., health professionals to access our personal health data (medical records). But, cronies use our personal data against us.

Healthy living

This is a most excellent idea \ plan if l do say so myself.

1. Provide #RenewableEnergy \ #technology related grants to the people on low incomes, for example, who rent houses, that want to, for example, install solar panels & heat pumps (but cost, "landlords" are a hindrance)

Research has shown (ask if interested) that if one or a few houses in a neighbourhood install solar panels, this can start a trend. E.g., local people take notice & ask questions

Jealousy or envy are characteristically unpleasant emotions. E.g., feeling envious towards the folk that have some 'thing' that you desire.

As I've inferred, jealousy typically causes antisocial behaviours, therefore, it could be argued that that antisocial "norm" is a part of an evolved personality disorder

Evolutionary use for jealousy__a 'stone aged brainer' spreading false rumours (lying) about the competition that they're jealous of (as only one example)

A more constructive, less idealistic discussion, would be asking questions such as "what's Jealousy for?"

The clue is that feeling jealous is an unpleasant emotion. Which means, it motivates the humans that feel it, to try & do something about it.

Typically, the behaviours caused by jealousy are antisocial.

However, those with a higher intelligence, can build up their willpower, & as such, be more passive observers of their emotions (rather than the puppets of)

However, a polygamous society would be more the 'norm' if humans weren't genetically predisposed towards jealously. Some humans feel more jealousy, than others, because of genetic differences (AKA individual personality differences)

Basically, the ideal "society" for my personality is one in which violence is, generally, perceived as a mental health problem. And as such, the majority don't tolerate violence. However, many violence apologists disagree with that definition.

Now you're suggesting that "perfect" babies will develop to be "perfect" adults if the environment (surroundings) are "perfect"

What "perfect" environment would, for example, mean that a % of men didn't become jealous of other men, that were with the women they desired?

It seems that you believe that jealously & rage are learnt emotions ("surroundings") not inherited (genes)

But yea, if cisgender men in general, have access to sex, that does mitigate sexual frustration

"put the cat among the pigeons" is a #British idiom used to describe a disturbance caused by an undesirable person from the perspective of a group.

For example, l'm a genuine #climate leader (with very few supporters). I understand, do, & speak out for the climate solutions. And, l'm critical of the problem (people that don't support the solutions)

It's one thing to understand why eating a plant & fungi based diet is part of the solutions to develop an ecologically sustainable society, it's another to put that knowledge into practice.

It's more effective, & in fact more considerate, to advise people to "try out" reducing their #meat & #dairy consumption & try the non-animal part alternatives, than to preach #veganism

Although, l eat plant & fungi based foods because l enjoy them.

"Capitalism" is no more the fundamental problem than are religions. For example, a religion could be founded on the idea that #God was a pacifist, but, the folk that harbour violent attitudes wouldn't (want to) believe in that God.

#Capitalism is *only* an economic model (nothing more). That model can be 'tweaked" to serve the majority, or for example, a minority of billionaire capitalists. If the model is tweaked towards social welfare, it looks more like #socialism

But, somewhat ironically, if #Fedilabs has that option, it's not explicit.
