Maybe it isn't our systems that produce these contradictions, rather the fragile and flawed humans who inhabit them. That's why it's impossible to create and maintain a moral system. In general we're too immoral to pull it off. @jeffcliff@NEETzsche
People have tremendous capacity to act immorally toward each other in the extreme. The only "moral" system in that environment is one that empowers as few people as possible in a way that imposes on another's pursuit of happiness. @jeffcliff@NEETzsche
Hard pass. I don't trust any of you motherf'ckers to defend my safety, let alone my rights. In fact, what I trust is that the collective will act with cold ruthlessness irregardless of morality. Do you want recent examples or extremely recent examples? So take Karl's collective and shove it where it belongs...deep in a corpse's decomposing colon. @jeffcliff@NEETzsche
The numbers are really easy to find. They're reported everywhere. So if you're unable to source them it's because you're deliberately remaining ignorant. @freemo@Soretski
Capitalism isn't the problem. Human corruption is the problem. I've yet to see the system that isn't infected with it. That's because humans are infected with it. Therefore, let's go with the system where the fewest corrupt humans have influence over people's daily lives. That's called free market capitalism under a representative republic. @anemone@dcc@wjmaggos@Diceyocean
Muslims are commanded by their God to murder the unbelievers, especially the Jews. Too many of them eagerly accept this goal as their own. How exactly do you think a piece of paper is going to solve that little issue? It's not about land. It's about Jews living outside of Sharia. How many should be forced into sharia to pacify the Jihad? 30%? 50%? Because they want 100%. But I eagerly await your final solution. @wjmaggos
I love NAS and the fediverse for the very reason Adam used to preach about...it's the wild west of free speech. No algos. Just people in all their glory, the good bad and ugly. I wouldn't have it any other way. cc @eriner
