the "fun" thing about banks is they never hit you with just one or two overdraft fees and then have your card get declined after that they just keep slamming you with them over and over till you can somehow get back into the black

look it is getting late and I've had no hits all day I'd really like to have enough to get my balance out of the red before the bank finds more reasons to screw with me

My bank account got overdrawn and I got hit with several overdraft fees so I guess I'm updating my goal this month to $450 :/

I'm going to need at least $140 of that right away so my bank balance will be positive again

anyway I'm a trans woman on disability with a limited income and two kitties

I was already pretty annoyed when he named a book "trigger warning"

I was thinking about it the other day how fucking weird trigger warning discourse was

like the idea of a piece of media having a warning at the front like "hey there is some fucked up shit in this" was around for at least all of my lifetime and was never controversial

it wasn't until it became about helping people with PTSD that it suddenly became this huge fucking deal and that political corectness had gone too far yadda yadda

it is like our society really hates disabled people or something i dunno

I don't know the details but the timeline seems to indicate it is thoroughly fucked up and cancel worthy and that is good enough for me so I guess I am very definitely not into Neil Gaiman now

@gwynnion I think they also just figured we had no choice but to vote for them because the alternative was worse so they didn't even need to bother offering us anything

and well we saw how well that plan worked out

@gwynnion I think a third party really has a decent chance in the near future if they stay down this path because who will be left to vote for them?

conservatives aren't going to vote for them because they can't compete with the GOP on bigotry and their base is definitely not going to keep voting for them like this

I basically have yet to see a use case of the phrase "virtue signalling" out in the wild that wasn't just someone mad that someone else has principles
